In a massive win for pro-gun Floridians, the Seminole County Republican Party has become the 4th County GOP to pass a resolution demanding their elected officials pass Constitutional Carry. The resolution was passed during a January 20th meeting.
The news was first broken by Florida State Rep. Anthony Sabatini, who is the lead sponsor, and champion for the state’s Constitutional Carry bill, HB 103. He additionally casts blame on the anti-gun Republican Speaker of the House Chris Sprowls for holding up the bill.
Pro-Gun News previously covered a similar resolution which was passed in Suwannee County, which is located within the district of State Rep. Chuck Brannan, who is the Chairman of the Criminal Justice & Public Safety Subcommittee, where the bill is currently being held up.
Sabatini spoke exclusively to Pro-Gun News following the resolutions passage.
“This is huge news,” Rep. Sabatini stated. “Unbelievably proud of Seminole County. This is the single most important bill that we can do to secure the rights of our citizens here in the state of Florida from the corrupt Biden regime.”
“Huge props to Chairman Ben Paris and the grassroots patriots of Seminole County for leading the fight for the Second Amendment in Central Florida. The days are numbered for the RINOs that are standing in the way of this important bill.”
The pro-gun champion concluded, “I’m proud to Sponsor Constitutional Carry, the Free State of Florida has a reputation to uphold!”

Constitutional Carry simply codifies the actual meaning of the Second Amendment into law. It removes the shackles of government control over your right to keep and bear arms and instead states that anybody who can legally own a gun is legally allowed to carry it, without requiring a government permission slip.
